We would like to remind you that your university email account will migrate to Office 365 this weekend and to spotlight available support resources.
ITS will migrate all accounts from our local Exchange environment to Microsoft Office 365 starting this evening at 5:00 pm and continuing until 7:30 am on Monday, April 13th. When your individual account migrates, your email and calendar will be briefly unavailable. After your account migrates, how you login to email will change. In the username field, you will enter your fullname@uconn.edu email address. Then in the password field, you will enter your NetID password. Login instructions and the basic information you will need after migration are summarized on our Office 365 Cheat Sheet; you should have also received a hardcopy in your university mailbox.
If you would like to start or continue receiving university email on your mobile device, they will need to be configured. You can find detailed instructions at office365.uconn.edu under Email Setup if you would like to configure the device yourself. We also have enhanced on-site support available to you over the weekend and on Monday:
April 11 – 12: ITS Technology Support Center: ITS will provide expanded hours of operation and additional full-time staff available for phone (860.486.4357) and walk-in assistance (MSB 037):

April 13: On-site Support Stations: On Monday, April 13th, the following stations will specialize in reconfiguring mobile devices and will be open to all faculty and staff. For more complex issues, a ticket may be created and addressed by ITS User Services as soon as practical.

If you are currently direct forwarding your email account to one of the supported university services, this will remain in place during and after the migration. A list of official university email services is maintained at the following location: http://office365.uconn.edu/forwarding-account/. Direct forwards to unofficial services will be removed during the migration, but no email will be lost when this occurs.
