ITS has communicated since July about discontinuing the university’s relationship with Google, and we have been working with our community to manage and migrate their Google data.  Alumni with personal data on the service have been actively transferring their files to alternate storage.  ITS will migrate institutional data to Microsoft 365 for staff, students, and faculty in batches over the next seven months.  We will notify those with Google Workspace accounts before any changes. They may choose to migrate or to “opt out” and have ITS delete unused or un-needed files.  We are starting with staff migrations, which will be completed in March.  We will then proceed to move students and finally faculty.
