EMS Campus is a cloud-hosted university-wide enterprise scheduling solution. It lets clients search and book available spaces and gives authorized schedulers advanced capabilities, such as assigning resources, managing billing, tracking attendance, and processing workflows. ITS and the Office of the Registrar collaborated to select, purchase, and implement this solution with the intention of making EMS the centralized system for booking university managed spaces. The first phase is being used by the Registrar’s office to schedule courses in classrooms. We are now completing the second phase, which extends general event scheduling capabilities to the larger UConn community.
