Office 365 is a Microsoft cloud product that includes Office and other services.  ITS uses it to provide email to faculty, staff, and student employees at the university.  Starting February 21, 2022, ITS will enable the available Online Archive feature in Office 365 and implement a general archival policy.  A searchable mailbox, labeled Online Archive, will appear in the navigation pane of your email client, and all messages that are older than two years will automatically move into it using a folder structure that mimics that of your primary mailbox.  You can customize this process by setting personal retention tags.  The archive will add a substantial 1.5 terabytes of storage to your account, and moving older messages out of your primary mailbox will improve its general performance.  Additional information and support are available at kb.uconn.edu/space/IKB/26013472142.
