The University has added new Adobe offerings to software.uconn.edu. Adobe Creative Cloud (CC) is a comprehensive suite of industry-leading tools (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat Pro, etc.).  UConn faculty, staff, and graduate students can purchase CC licenses for individuals and devices on an annual basis and at reduced rates through the University Software Catalog.  The license price per year is $136, although those purchased now will expire in three months and are provided at a discount.

ITS is now offering Adobe Express Premium as a simpler, more cost-effective alternative to the larger, more expensive Adobe CC.  This all-in-one application offers basic design, editing, and multimedia content creation capabilities (like Canva).  You can edit and merge PDFs with Express, although it does not have Acrobat Pro’s digital signature feature.  This means that you cannot create signable documents and put them into a digital workflow.  Licenses cost $10 a year and if purchased now, do not expire until September 15, 2025.
