The changes have kept coming in 2022.  We broadly introduced two-factor authentication to the community, and this will contribute substantially to personal and institutional data security.  Several legacy services were retired this year, and while the loss of familiar functionality will be noticed in the short-term, these changes better position UConn for investment in contemporary capabilities that will better serve us in the long run.  We have said good-bye to colleagues whom we will miss, and we have welcomed new ones, who bring their own insights and expertise to our institution.  Although changes can be temporarily inconvenient, uncomfortable, and uncertain, they also introduce opportunities for renewal and improvement.  Thank you for being our partner as, together, we navigated the many challenges of 2022.  ITS will enter 2023 with a focus on the future, and I look forward to shaping IT at UConn with you in the new year.
